Carlton Beach, Salt Lake offers a comfortable campground on the south
end of Salt Lake. The campground has serviced lots at reasonable rates
and a modern washroom/shower facility. Salt Lake has some interesting
history in its own right! Because of the salt content, the waters of
the lake were considered medicinal. Premier
Norquay and his family resided at a summer home at Salt Lake. At
around this time, research was being done by a Dr. Pennyfather in hopes
that a spa could be constructed. While the spa did not see completion,
there are many who maintain that Salt Lake does have a healing influence.
We only know that a quiet week's camping can certainly have a rejuvenating
affect! Call (204)
365-2196 to reserve your campsite.
